We are proud to announce that Arrow has been officially approved by the Fiber Optic Association (FOA) to deliver the Certified Premises Cabling Technician (CPCT®) program at our training center in Jordan. The CPCT certification covers copper, fiber optic, and wireless cabling systems that support today’s critical indoor communications networks. The program emphasizes practical training in design, installation, testing, and troubleshooting, while also addressing how cabling supports Wi-Fi and cellular services. This new milestone enables Arrow to provide professionals in Jordan with internationally recognized skills and certification in modern premises cabling technologies.

Arrow Academy, in collaboration with ETCOM, the official representative of Fujikura and EXFO in Jordan, successfully conducted a specialized training course in optical fiber technology and maintenance for a group of supervisors from EarthLink – Iraq. The program included practical hands-on sessions on Fujikura fusion splicing machines and EXFO OTDR testing devices, delivered in ETCOM’s fully equipped training laboratories. The course was organized with the support and coordination of Eng. Ashraf Damisi, CEO of ETCOM, and Eng. Mahmoud AL Rimawi, who played a key role in facilitating the training. Additionally, a comprehensive theoretical session was presented by Eng. Basil Omari, covering the latest advancements in fiber optic technologies, including FTTH (Fiber to the Home) design principles and network architecture

Arrow Academy conducted a training workshop in FTTH optical fiber technology for students of the Department of Communications Engineering at the College of Engineering at Princess Sumaya University for Technology headed by Dr. Loay Al-Tarawneh. Eng. Basil Omari reviewed the techniques for installing and designing private fiber optic networks in homes and the latest international methods used in this field.

Arrow Academy has conducted two consecutive courses in Amman: CFOT and CFOS/T for a group of fiber technicians from Umniah Mobile Company, and free lancers from USA, Tunisia and Jordan. They passed their FOA certified exams and got their basic and advanced international certifications along with 100,000 certified FOA members worldwide.

Arrow Academy has conducted its first CFOS/T course for Basra Oil Company fiber teams in Istanbul. They passed their FOA certified exam and got their specialist course.

FOA Training courses at Arrow Academy are now Accredited by the Knowledge & Human Development authority at Government of Dubai; CFOT®, CFOS/D, and CFOS/H Certification programs have been added to the list of approved training courses issued in 2024.

Arrow Academy is now authorized to deliver the advanced FOA certification in Fiber Optic Testing CFOS/T. Instructor Basil Omari has successfully achieved the Specialized FOA exam and added this certificate to the existing courses: CFOT®, CFOS/D (Design), CFOS/H(FTTH).

CFOS/H …The second certified fiber course in FTTH has been conducted at FIBERTECH company. The team has successfully passed the certification exam. Dr. Rashed Alsakarneh from Zytoonah University Of Jordan, ZUJ also attended the course and passed the certification exam to be the 2nd Academic staff who got FOA certified.

New certified FOA training course, CFOT®, has been conducted by Arrow Academy for a group of interested teams in fiber at: Umniah Mobile company, Al Zaytoonah University, ZUJ, Prince Sumayyah University and freelancer technician at USA. The engineers and technicians participated in the training courses have passed the certification exam and earned FOA membership along with 95,784 certified members worldwide, and more than 150 in Jordan.

Two certified FOA training courses: Certified Fiber Optic Technician course, CFOT® , and the Certified Fiber Optic Specialist in Design CFOS/D , have been conducted in Kuwait by Arrow Academy at HEISCO “ Heavy Engineering Industries and Shipbuilding Construction Company”, as a prerequisite for Kuwait Oil Company fiber projects. The engineers and technicians participated in the training courses have passed the certification exam and earned FOA membership along with 95,161 certified members worldwide.

Arrow for Engineering Solutions has participated in the workshop organized by Huawei and Jordan Engineers Association at The Ritz Carlton in Amman 9th ,November. Engineer Basil Omari demonstrated the FOA role in standardization of the fiber optics profession. The international Fiber Optic Association, FOA is now spreading its contribution across 45 countries through more than 250 centers, its main focus is standardization, education and certification of the staff working with the fiber optic network; So far, more than 93,386 certified members have been enrolled under the FOA umbrella worldwide. Jordan has certified about 150 technicians and engineers for the local and the regional fiber market.

Specialized training courses were held in the 4G network for technical staff at the Yemeni company Saba Phone. The courses included the following topics: # Course title 1 O&M Huawei MW Equipment RTN 900  2 Operation and maintenance on 4G eNodeB SW from Huawei   3 4G IP planning 4  Admin, O&M Juniper Router MX480 5 O&M for Open NSS from Nokia  6 Advanced LTE Network Planning  The courses were presented by experts from Arrow for Engineering Solutions Company, and the trainers presented training models for various parts of the 4G network and practical exercises in operation, maintenance and planning.  

8- 12 /10/2023 The Certified Fiber Optic training course CFOT® was held in Amman for a group of engineers and technicians working in the fiber network field at the following organizations: Umniah Irbid Electricity Company, IDECO WEBHELP SYNAPTIC Abu Dolleh co.  By the end of the course, the trainees passed the CFOT exam by the Fiber Optic Association (FOA). They achieved the international certification as specialists in fiber optic technologies.

By the end of the courses, the students passed the CFOT exam by the Fiber Optic Association (FOA), and achieved the international certification as specialists in fiber optic technologies.

NEWS: 29/9/2023 Certified Fiber Optic Specialist courses (CFOS/H FTTH) from The Fiber Optic Association, FOA, have been conducted to the technical teams at Basra Oil Company, and its service provider company NetGate-Iraq. The courses and the FOA exam were held in Dubai during the period 18 – 29 October 2023.

News: 17-2-2022 FOA CFOT program for Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship engineers, running the NBN fiber project at Madaba region. Malik Al Shorman Monther Amayrah Ahmad Rawashdeh Jafar Al Zan Sahem Zawahreh Five days course with both theory and practical sessions was held at AES -the Certified FOA center in Jordan-  during the period from 13th to 17th February , 2022 for the first group of MODEE engineers running the NBN Mega Fiber at Madaba region. By the end of the course, the  CFOT exam was conducted by the Fiber Optic Association FOA, the whole team passed.
